Corrections Policy

How students, institutes and readers can challenge inaccurate or outdated information.

What to submit

Use our contact page and provide the affected URL, the exact statement or field being challenged, the proposed correction and supporting primary evidence. Institutes should use an official domain address or provide another reasonable way to verify authority.

How we review requests

  1. Confirm that the request identifies a specific factual issue.
  2. Compare the page with official notices, dated documents, direct evidence and previously recorded sources.
  3. Contact the requester or relevant party when clarification is needed.
  4. Correct, clarify, relabel, update, retain or remove the information based on evidence.

Types of changes

Minor spelling and formatting errors may be corrected without a note. Material changes involving eligibility, dates, fees, results, verification or a significant conclusion should update the review date and, where useful, include a correction note.

Institute disputes

An institute may challenge inaccurate fees, courses, locations, faculty or result claims. It cannot buy deletion of accurate information or a favourable verification outcome. Sponsored status receives no advantage in a correction review.

Privacy and removal

Requests involving personal information are handled under the Privacy Policy. Copyright or document-rights complaints should identify the work, ownership basis and affected URL.

If you disagree

You may provide additional evidence and request reconsideration. GovtAdhikari may preserve an accurate record when evidence does not support the requested change.
