Privacy Policy

How GovtAdhikari collects, uses, shares and deletes personal information.

Last updated 2 September 2026Plain-language noticeConsent can be withdrawn

1. Who this policy applies to

This policy applies when you use GovtAdhikari.com, subscribe to an exam or paper alert, submit an institute enquiry, contact us, create an account or otherwise provide information through the website. GovtAdhikari is an independent information platform and is not a government authority.

2. Information we collect

Depending on the feature you use, we may collect:

  • Your email address and WhatsApp or mobile number.
  • Your selected communication channel, preferred language, exam, job, paper, location or coaching interest.
  • Your name and message when you contact us or submit an institute enquiry.
  • The institute or service you asked about.
  • Your consent choice, the wording shown to you, submission date and technical records needed to demonstrate or secure that consent.
  • Basic account information if account features are enabled.
  • Device, browser, approximate location, referral, page-view and interaction data collected through server logs, cookies and analytics tools.

Please do not submit identity documents, payment details or sensitive personal information through a general alert or enquiry form.

3. Why we use information

We use personal information only for stated and reasonably related purposes, including to:

  • Send the exam, job, paper, result or preparation alerts you requested.
  • Deliver an institute enquiry to a selected or relevant coaching partner when you have clearly consented to that sharing.
  • Respond to questions, corrections, profile claims and support requests.
  • Remember language or display preferences.
  • Measure website performance, prevent spam and fraud, diagnose errors and improve content.
  • Maintain consent, unsubscribe, security and compliance records.

Submitting an alert form does not authorize unrelated coaching calls. An alert subscription and an institute enquiry are treated as different purposes.

4. Email and WhatsApp alerts

We contact you through the channel you select. Messages should relate to the exam, paper, job or category stated beside the form. You can withdraw consent through an unsubscribe method in the message where available or by using our contact page. Withdrawal does not affect processing that occurred before withdrawal, but we will stop future consent-based messages within a reasonable period.

5. Coaching institute enquiries and partner sharing

If you ask to hear from an institute or request help comparing coaching, we may share the contact details and preferences necessary to respond with the selected institute or a clearly relevant coaching partner. We do not sell a general alert subscriber list as unrestricted marketing data.

The form should identify the intended purpose before submission. Once an institute receives an enquiry, it may process the information under its own privacy practices. Do not submit an institute enquiry unless you want that institute or stated partner to contact you.

6. Service providers

We may use hosting, database, security, analytics, form, email, WhatsApp messaging, customer-support and technical service providers to operate the platform. They may process limited information on our behalf and should receive only what is needed for their service. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the platform, or during a legitimate business reorganization subject to appropriate notice and safeguards.

7. Cookies and analytics

GovtAdhikari may use essential cookies for security, sessions, preferences and form operation. Analytics and performance technologies may record visits, pages viewed, referral sources, device type and interactions so we can understand and improve the website. Where consent is required, non-essential technologies should be controlled through the available cookie choices. You may also restrict cookies in your browser, although some features may stop working.

8. Retention

We apply the following working retention periods unless a longer period is required for security, disputes or law:

  • Alert subscriptions: until you unsubscribe or after 24 months without meaningful engagement.
  • Institute enquiries: up to 24 months after the last interaction.
  • Contact and correction requests: up to 24 months after resolution.
  • Consent, suppression and security records: up to three years after the relevant relationship or withdrawal, where needed to document preferences, prevent renewed contact or resolve disputes.
  • Analytics and technical logs: normally up to 26 months, subject to provider settings and security needs.

Deleted information may remain in restricted backups for up to 90 additional days before routine overwrite. We may retain anonymized statistics that no longer identify an individual.

9. Your choices and rights

You may ask us to:

  • Confirm whether we process your personal information and provide a summary.
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Withdraw consent and stop alert communications.
  • Delete information that is no longer required, subject to legal and security exceptions.
  • Explain the categories of processors or partners with whom relevant information was shared.
  • Raise a grievance about our handling of your information.

Submit a request through the GovtAdhikari contact page. Include the email address or number used in the form and enough detail to identify the request. We may take proportionate steps to verify that the requester is the affected person.

10. Children

GovtAdhikari does not knowingly seek lead or marketing consent directly from children. If you are under 18, use enquiry and alert features only with a parent or lawful guardian. A parent or guardian may contact us to request deletion of a child's information.

11. Security and international processing

We use reasonable organizational and technical measures intended to protect personal information. No website or transmission method can guarantee absolute security. Some service providers may process information from other jurisdictions; where this occurs, we seek to use providers and safeguards appropriate to the service and applicable requirements.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our services, partners or legal obligations change. Material changes will be reflected by the updated date and, when appropriate, an additional notice. A new purpose that requires consent will not be treated as covered merely because this policy changed.

13. Contact and grievances

For privacy questions, consent withdrawal, correction, deletion or grievances, use our contact form and select or state “Privacy request.” We will publish a dedicated privacy contact address when it is operationally monitored.
